The PYTH token is the governance token of the Pyth Network. 

• You must sign up for a Backpack Exchange account and complete the KYC verification process.

• You must purchase or deposit at least 5 SOL onto your Backpack Exchange account. 

• You must stake 5 SOL.

• Staking will gradually begin opening at Nov 18, 2023 at 15:00 UTC. You must stake before 11:59 UTC on Nov 19, 2023 to be eligible for the drop.

  • As long as you deposit funds to the exchange before 11:59am UTC, November 19, 2023, you will be given until 4pm UTC November 19, 2023 to stake.

• Trading is expected to open on or about November 21, 2023.

• If you meet our Eligibility requirements, and you own a Mad Lad or Pyth Alligators (to be verified through wallet connection), you will be guaranteed to receive the maximum allocation. 

  • Note: You must use a Backpack Wallet to verify Mad Lads ownership

• If you meet our Eligibility requirements and conduct trading activities on Backpack Exchange, you will receive PYTH tokens in accordance with your trading volume, up to the maximum allocation.

• All other verified users that meet our Eligibility requirements will have a chance to receive an allocation of PYTH tokens to be determined in our sole discretion. 

• PYTH tokens shall be distributed shortly before 2PM UTC on Nov 20th, 2023.

• Backpack Exchange retains final discretion in determining all PYTH allocations. Accounts with suspicious or fraudulent activities will result in a loss or reduction of your allocation.

  • Yes, after November 20, 2023 at 2PM UTC, you may freely withdraw your SOL. 

  • Minimum withdrawal: $3 USDC, 0.02 SOL

• Can I unstake SOL after staking it?

  • Not until after 12:00 UTC, Nov 20, 2023.

• Can I have multiple verified accounts?

  • No. Your account will be closed if we suspect uses of multiple verified accounts.

• Can I use an account that was verified under another person?

  • No. Your account will be closed if we suspect the use of an account verified under another person.
