Using your Backpack Wallet to connect to decentralized applications (dApps) is quick and easy. Follow these steps to get started.
1) Login to your Backpack Wallet
2) Open the Explore menu
- Look for the Explore tab located at the bottom of Backpack.
3) Find your preferred dApp
- You can switch to the Blinks tab to access curated Solana Actions & Blinks.
- You can scroll through the options or use the Search bar to locate a specific dApp.
- dApps which give a bonus for using Backpack Wallet are highlighted below the Search bar.
4) Open the dApp and connect your Wallet
- For example, if you select Jupiter you will be redirected to the Jupiter dApp.
- Once inside a dApp, locate the Connect Wallet button and choose Backpack in the wallet selector. This button is often displayed prominently in upper Center or Right hand side of the dApp.
7) Approve the connection request
A request will pop up in your Backpack Wallet asking for permission to connect.
Review the details and select Approve to proceed.
You're all set!
Once approved, your Backpack Wallet is successfully connected to the dApp, and you can now start interacting with it.
