API Brokers on Backpack are eligible to earn broker rebates by offering their users access to Backpack's trading infrastructure and unique features across spot and futures markets.

Social Trading Platforms

Check API Docs and set up connections to the endpoints relevant to your service.
Send your unique broker code as the API request header.
API Broker vs. Affiliate
API brokers receive rebates on the trading fees generated by orders submitted via API by them. Affiliates receive rebates on the trading fees generated by new users onboarded with their referral code.
Please note that the API Broker Program and the Backpack Affiliate Program are mutually exclusive. Enrollment in one program will preclude enrollment in the other.

BKR tiers take into account both spot and futures trading volume from orders submitted via API.
Tier calculation and payout
On the first day of every month, broker tiers are updated and payouts calculated. The formula is:
Payout = API Volume × Fee Rate % × min {Broker Rebate %, max{0, 50% - Affiliate Rebate %}}
Where:
Fee Rate is determined by each user's trading fees and applicable discounts.
Broker Rebate is determined by the API broker's BKR tier.
Affiliate Rebate is determined by the referral code (if any) used by each user to sign up.
API Volume is the spot and futures trading volume from orders submitted via API with the unique broker code of each API Broker as the API request header.
Rebates will be settled in USD and credited to the broker's Backpack account every month.
