{% hint style="info" %}
Wire fees depend on your tier. Tier 5 and up get a set number of free wires every 30 days; Tiers 1–4 get a one-time allowance of free wires, shared across deposits and withdrawals. Higher tiers earn more free wires and lower transaction fees. **Your sending/intermediary bank may apply its own charges, which are outside our control.**
{% endhint %}

## Wire fee schedule

Tier 5 and up get free wires every 30 days and reduced fees on large transfers; Tiers 1–4 get a one-time free allowance shared across deposits and withdrawals.

| Tier    | Staked BP | Wire deposit              | Wire withdrawal                                             |
| ------- | --------- | ------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| Tier 1  | 0         | 1 free one-time, then $30 | 1 free one-time, then $50; 10bps on amounts above $200K/30d |
| Tier 2  | 350       | 2 free one-time, then $30 | 2 free one-time, then $50; 10bps on amounts above $200K/30d |
| Tier 3  | 1,500     | 3 free one-time, then $30 | 3 free one-time, then $50; 10bps on amounts above $200K/30d |
| Tier 4  | 3,500     | 5 free one-time, then $30 | 5 free one-time, then $50; 10bps on amounts above $200K/30d |
| Tier 5  | 15,000    | 3 free/30d, then $30      | 3 free/30d, then $50; 10bps on amounts above $200K/30d      |
| Tier 6  | 30,000    | 5 free/30d, then $30      | 5 free/30d, then $50; 10bps on amounts above $200K/30d      |
| VIP 1–3 | 50,000+   | No flat fee               | No flat fee; 5bps on amounts above $200K/30d                |
| VIP 4–5 | 350,000+  | No flat fee               | No flat fee; 5bps on amounts above $500K/30d                |

For Tiers 1–4, the free allowance is one pool shared across wire deposits and withdrawals, counted over your account's full history. It does not reset. Tier 5 and up get their free wires per direction, resetting on a rolling 30-day basis.

{% hint style="info" %}
***Important Notes:***

* **Fee tiers are recalculated hourly, and your VIP status is updated accordingly.**
* **Effective tier is determined based on your BP Stake, trading volume and pre-TGE Mad Lad NFT holding, whichever tier is highest.**
* **Our USDT/USDC trading pair is subject to a 0% fee, which means that trades on this pair do not count toward your 30-day volume requirements for fee tier upgrades.**
  {% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://support.backpack.exchange/exchange/deposit-and-withdraw/fiat/how-to-deposit-via-wire.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
