# Researching Stocks

### Stay up to date from Home

The **Home** page gives you a quick view of market activity, stocks, upcoming events, and market news. Some sections also include crypto and perpetual futures data.

### Find stocks with Screener

Go to **Tools → Screener** to discover and narrow down stocks using predefined templates or your own filters.

#### Start from a template

Choose a ready-made template to quickly find stocks based on common criteria, such as:

* **Daily gainers**
* **Daily dips**
* **New 52-week highs**
* **New 52-week lows**
* **Momentum leaders**

Each template applies a predefined set of filters that you can modify.

#### Create your own screener

Select **+ New** to build a custom screener. You can filter stocks by categories such as **Classification, Price, Volume, Performance, Valuation, Fundamentals,** and **Events**.

Use **Always include** to keep specific tickers in your results even when they don't match the other filters.

You can also select **Edit Columns** to customize the data shown in your results.

### Compare stocks with Graphs

Go to **Tools → Graphs** to visualize and compare stock data across different metrics and time periods.

You can start from a template for common areas of analysis, such as growth, margins, returns on capital, valuation, and cash flow, or select **+ New** to build your own graph.

To create a custom graph, add the stocks and metrics you want to analyze, then choose a time range. You can add or remove tickers and metrics as needed to compare companies from different perspectives.

### Track events with Calendar

Go to **Tools → Calendar** to view upcoming **earnings** and **macroeconomic events**.

Switch between **Month, Week,** and **Day** views, or use the available filters to narrow the calendar by your **Watchlist, Holdings,** or **Country**.

This can help you keep track of events relevant to the companies and markets you follow.

## Research an individual stock

Open a stock to access company-specific market and research information directly from its trading page.

Alongside the price chart and key market data, you can switch between **Financials, News, About, Dividends, Insider,** and **Filings** for a closer look at the company.

View key financial metrics and company performance, including revenue, profitability, earnings per share, margins, valuation ratios, and cash flow.

Use **Income Statement, Balance Sheet,** and **Cash Flow** to explore the company's financial statements in more detail.

View an overview of the company, including its business description and basic company information such as ticker, market capitalization, IPO date, and number of employees.

Review reported insider activity, including historical shares acquired and disposed of. Switch to **Transactions** for more detailed insider transaction data.
